Shell Garage at Shirley Triangle -Julian Knight’s victory to stop Shell garage on the Shirley Triangle selling alcohol through the night

Julian Knight, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Solihull, has won his campaign to prevent the proposed Shell garage on the Shirley Triangle at the top of Tamworth lane from selling alcohol through the night.Local residents approached Julian for help as they were concerned that the provision of alcohol through the night would make the garage a magnet for anti-social behaviour.  Julian took residents’ concerns to the local licensing authorities and to the site's owners Lockett & Co. Letters were written and a petition organised by local Shirley councillors Gary Allport and Peter Doyle.

Julian Knight, Conservative parliamentary candidate, has upped his campaign to resolve parking problems around the Jaguar Land Rover Plant.Julian has met with senior management at the firm in recent days and written to them suggesting some solutions to the parking chaos blighting the lives of local residents. 

Shirley Carnival - Julian takes fight to save Walk-in Centre to the Carnival

Julian Knight, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Solihull, took his campaign to save walk in services at Solihull hospital to Shirley Carnival on Saturday.

Julian set up a special stand with local Councillors for Shirley and volunteers to help collect signatures for his petition and brief revellers on how his fight to save walk in services is going. 

Julian Knight to meet airport chiefs over potential expansion plans

Julian Knight, the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Solihull, is to meet with Birmingham Airport bosses over the potential for more air traffic over Solihull.

The plans for a second runway and a massive expansion in the number of take-off flights prompted Mr Knight to call for the meeting so that he can gauge any potential disruption to the lives of the people of Solihull.

Julian Knight welcomes big grant for Citizens Advice Bureau

The Citizens Advice Solihull Bureau has been awarded £345,160 by the Government and the Big Lottery Fund to continue providing advice in Solihull Borough. Julian Knight added: "I am thrilled to hear of the grant award given to Citizens Advice. Individual bureaux tirelessly and without a fuss do great things in our community.    As someone who has spent his career championing the need for better, fairer financial advice for those in debt, and I know that without Citizens Advice bureaux thousands of lives in Solihull would be a immeasurably worse."
